We have long implemented a responsible development strategy with the intention of raising awareness throughout the production chain so that everyone can have a more sustainable approach.
In fact, we believe that through the provision of our products and services, our customers have concrete tools to be able to start initiatives to mitigate their own environmental impacts.
With the entry into effect of the new EU directives on reporting (EU Directive 2022/2464) and through the spreading of new tools such as Digital Product Passports (EU Regulation 2024/1781 - E.S.P.R.), we believe that the enhancement of environmental information, related to the use of raw materials (emissions, recycled raw material content, supply traceability, etc.), has become a factor of primary importance.
This is why we are pleased to inform you that from this year MINUO, a Carbon Transparency service, will be active and will be made available, upon request at the order stage, to all customers who purchase materials from the OLIFOUR product range.
This service consists in providing our customers with the specific value of GHG emissions (t CO2e) generated for each individual OLIFOUR supply (The sharing will take place at a predetermined intervals, through a special document); for equal value of GHG emissions (t CO2e) declared, we will also support the "Biosphere Reserve of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano" in the project of carbon credits.
MINUO: "our proposal to encourage reduced environmental impact production ".
